The small rural town of Walbundrie hosts an annual agricultural show where equestrian events are prominent. I attended with my Nikon F6, a 300mm f/4 and some Portra 800 rated at EI 400.

300mm was not enough for shooting from the fence. Every image on this page is heavily cropped. In some cases only 50% of the negative is displayed here. Considering this magnification the Portra 800 has remained remarkably grain free.
