My weekly drive in the country to teach piano often reveals photographic gems. This time it was a hay bale figure advertising the annual Burrumbuttock Flower Show.
I used Ektar and Portra 400 film in my Nikon F6, with a 24mm Sigma for the wide shots and a 90mm Tamron for closeups.
While the local hall hosts a cut flower competition and a photo exhibition, the main interest is in the yards of the keen gardeners who welcome visitors to view their work. Some of the rural scenery of this region is stunning.
