Gregory Lewis - F6 Walkaround

July 2022

I sometimes take my F6 on walks around city streets or bush tracks, or while driving in the country. I normally load Portra 800, with my exposure compensation at +1.

A family trip to Melbourne included a visit to Federation Square and Hosier Lane, a focal point of colourful street art. I carried a trio of Tamron lenses: 15-30mm f/2.8, 45mm f/1.8 and 90mm Macro. The sign above was taken on the 45mm, those below on the 15-30mm zoom.

During a Jaguar Car Club event we stopped at Farran’s lookout near Towong to view the extensive cattle grazing properties and the Snowy Mountains. The 90mm was used here.

Closer to home I walked along a new Gateway bush walk beside the Murray River. I carried an old Nikon 70-210mm, my usual Tamron 15-30mm and a Nikon 85mm f/1.8D. Council bush walks in Albury/Wodonga are used as exhibit areas for local sculptors.
